The Top New Years Resolutions To Move The Marijuana Industry Forward

By | Blogs | No Comments

new years resolutions kush1. Do the right thing. For those of us in the industry, that means doing all we can to ensure the safety of our customers and the reliability of our product. Lack of standard regulation in states where marijuana has been legalized means that the responsibility for seeing that customers get what they need consistently, falls on the individual business owner. Here at Kush Bottles, we are doing our part by providing child-resistant packaging for marijuana products at both the dispensary, as well as individual user level.

2. Push for more standardization within the industry. Bad news travels fast, and with social media and the Internet, it travels even faster. So you can be sure that the uneducated consumer who has a bad experience because he or she ate more than the recommended dosage of an edible will make the headlines and reinforce the negative stereotypes that have hurt the industry to-date. Clear labeling, standardized potency measurements—these are all hallmarks we need to push for in boosting the marijuana industry’s image.

3. Keep the federal government moving in the right direction. It was a start this year when Congress passed a $1.1 trillion spending bill that keeps the feds from using tax dollars to raid medical marijuana dispensaries in states where it is legal. While we have a long way to go, anyone who knows how government works, realizes this speaks volumes about the pressure Washington is starting to feel about the issue. Let’s keep the heat up.

4. Start your cannabis investment fund. You’ve got your travel fund, your retirement account, make this the year you start setting aside money to invest in the cannabis industry. Todd Harrison, CBO and founder of MInyanville It’s like seeing a slight A provision in the $1.1 trillion spending bill passed by Congress bars the federal government from using its resources to go after medical marijuana in states where it is legal.

A Holiday Jingle For The Marijuana Crowd!

By | Blogs | No Comments

kb jingleTwas the night before Christmas, when all through the land,               the times they were changing and Kush Bottles thought it was grand.   From Arizona and Delaware, to Maine and DC.,                                           medical marijuana was legalized, setting patients free.

Recreational marijuana had victories too.                                                                                         Alaska and Oregon recently joined the legal smoking crew.                                                           Congress decided to follow the trend                                                                                                   and budgeting to police marijuana came to an end.

Kush Bottles made childproof pot bottles so parents wouldn’t dread,                                         and children all across the world could rest snug in their beds.                                                     The bottles meet standards for child-safety and state laws,                                                           everyone approves, even Santa Clause!

Now we know ‘tis the time to be merry and jolly                                                                              and deck all the halls with Christmas lights and holly.                                                                   So we wish all our customers a joyous season.                                                                                   We love what we do and you are the reason!

Why This Week Was So Historic For The MMJ Industry

By | Blogs | No Comments

historic weekAs of last weekend (with the passage of a surprise spending bill!) the federal government can no longer use its own resources to interfere with state medical marijuana laws. As a company in the emerging marijuana industry and an advocate for marijuana legalization, Kush Bottles views this as a historic week!

“Congrats to Congress for getting this right.” Tweeted CEO of Kush Bottles, Nick Kovacevich,(@nickkovacevich) to his followers on Monday morning.

Other thought leaders chimed in as well.

Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, who co-authored the measure, described the passage of this bill as “a victory for so many.” She went on to say its approval represents, “the first time in decades that the federal government has curtailed its oppressive prohibition of marijuana.”

Representative Sam Farr (D-Calif) also commented on the federal war on medical marijuana being over. “This is great day for common sense because now our federal dollars will be spent more wisely on prosecuting criminals and not sick patients.”

We think this historic victory calls for a little celebration. If you haven’t already, pop some bottles to show your support!
